Fundraiser proceeds support nonprofits in Monroe County and its surrounding communities that uphold the public good.

Outing proceeds cover Civpark operating costs and sustain an onsite outdoor resource share, ensuring guests have the gear and guidance needed to enjoy Indiana’s natural heritage during visits to Lake Monroe and the Hoosier National Forest.

Park programs operate by Conservation Through Use principles — CTU teaches that local natural spaces are more eagerly preserved and appreciated by those given opportunities to develop a good rapport with them, via frequent visits and healthy outdoor hobbies—such as CAMPING, hobbies that bring us near the flora, fauna, and natural history of our unique region.
